Contact SnapVid

Got a question, bug report, feature request, or just want to say hi? Reach out below. We read every message, though response times vary.

What to include in your message

  • Bug reports: Browser and device you're using, the YouTube URL that failed, and what happened (error message, blank screen, wrong file, etc.).
  • Feature requests: Describe the feature and the use case behind it.
  • Takedown requests: Include the specific URL or content reference and your basis for the request. Note that SnapVid does not host video files — content takedown requests should go to YouTube.
  • Partnerships and inquiries: Brief description of the proposal.

Response time

We typically respond within 2-5 business days. Bug reports affecting the site for everyone get priority. Partnership and commercial inquiries take longer.

Before contacting us

A quick check before emailing — most common issues have simple fixes:

  • If a video won't convert, try a different video first. Most failures are video-specific (private, region-blocked, age-restricted).
  • If downloads fail, check your browser's download permissions for snapvid.live.
  • For format questions, see our MP3 or MP4 pages.
  • Wondering whether the tool is trustworthy? Our Is It Safe? page answers the common security questions.

Frequently Asked Questions

How quickly will I get a reply? +

Most emails get a response within 2 to 5 business days. Reports of a bug that affects the whole site are handled first; partnership and commercial messages usually take longer.

Is there live chat or phone support? +

No. SnapVid is a small, free service, so support is email-only. That is what keeps the tool free and free of intrusive ads — and email gives us the detail we need to actually reproduce and fix a problem.

A specific video won't download — can you fix it? +

Usually this is not something we can fix on our end. Downloads fail when a video is private, deleted, age-restricted, region-blocked, or a live stream. Try a different video first; if every video fails, then email us with the exact URL and your browser.

How do I report copyrighted content? +

SnapVid does not host any video files — every download comes straight from YouTube's own servers. Content takedown requests should therefore go to YouTube directly. If you believe SnapVid itself is doing something wrong, email us with the specific details and we will look into it.

Can I suggest a new feature or tool? +

Yes, and we read every suggestion. Tell us the feature and, just as importantly, the problem you are trying to solve — the use case behind a request is what helps us decide what to build next.

Do you reply to every message? +

We read every message that comes in. We reply to the large majority, but generic marketing pitches and link-building outreach usually do not get a response.
